Assassin's Creed The Movie, It's Already In The Works

Ubisoft has already announced that an Assassin Creed movie in the making. We also know that it will star Micael Fassbender as everyone's favorite assassin.

Ubisoft has made it clear that they would like to expand the Assassins Creed brand into more than just games. We've seen the figurines, the books and other accessories but the movie will be icing on the cake. They're aiming to extend the life span of the franchise. (Assassin's Creed, Cinema)

I am absolutely loving Assassins Creed 3, however I think basing the movie around that would be a mistake. As a super Doom fan I really hated that they made the movie based on Doom 3....

With Assassins creed you have several games revolving around Altair, so I'd go with one of his stories. Sure American Revolution would be interesting and probably grab bigger box office, but do they want to be "just another crap video game movie"?

As much as I love Fassbender, I hope he doesnt play as Altair. Maybe Desmond, or a sipporting character or villain, but definitely not Altair. Please dont white wash the cast.
