I think once it was "dolled up" for pictures and the movie, it looked absolutely awesome. Then the drawings and designs elsewhere make it look friggin cool.

I just wasn't a fan of it when it was "leaked" because without effects it looks terrible

it was the same with Batman and Catwoman in DKR. Both costumes looked horrible in the leaked pictures.

The new Robocop suit is looking awful too but I know it will look good in the movie even if the movie itself will suck some major ass.

Thats what I was thinking, but I guess the spider and webbing on his costume was different? That's about it....

I could be wrong but maybe hardcore fans are looking for something along the lines of a live action Peter Parker and a hand drawn on to the screen Spidey. Because that's as close as your gonna get to the "original look" :O

Wha??? Andrew Garfield NOT GOOD? I respect your opinion but Andrew Garfield is a great actor (Try 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' or 'The Social Network'). As for not being a good Peter i gotta disagree. He looks like the Spider-man: Unlimited Peter just walked off the saturday morning screen. Among other versions of Parker. I'd look for images but it sounds like WAAAAAAAAY to much work. I probably won't even finish this sente....

What are you talking about, Andrew sucks, he looks nothing like Peter Parker at all. You know how Peter was a geek and was most likely beat up at high school well Andrew looks like one of the guys who would of picked on Peter Parker.

Honestly when will we get a Spiderman film that moves on from Highschool, I want to see an older Peter Parker who's been Spiderman for years and is finally getting to him

That's exactly what parker looks like in most iteration of the comics . He looks like a model with glasses and is only geeky in personality . I dunno what do you guys expect , Peter Parker is "your average" because of his attitude and all the crap that happened to him in his civilian life , but he was always gorgeous looking and dating playboy level models , while playing with superstars friends and foes ...

Let's not pretend you guys would watch a movie with some ugly unknown mofo from his mom's basement with acnee .

it was painful , fake and akward to watch . And he couldnt even get one iota of Parker's personality on screen .

We finally get a Parker than can actually look and play the part , quips and fun included , let's not exagerate .

Wich is what Spidey's quips usually are . It's pretty much an annoyance to his foes and some of his heroes friend .

i'll not pretend it's perfect , but in my books it's easily the best spiderman rendition on theater so far

I'm not disagreeing with you over the need to stop rebooting spidey and finally get an "old parker" movie . But a restart was needed to gezt away from was was a well done trilogy , but terrible spiderman and parker imo .

I hated the film too. I aint going to lie. Its by far the weakest marvel movie in the last 5 years.

I doubt they will ever do my favorite spider villain Carnage.

I liked the movie, but having all these origin stories, I have little expectation to see Carnage. At least I hope we get to see a well done Venom, and not that dreadful emo thing that was in Spiderman 3
