The Trailer for the Zombie Love Story Warm Bodies Hits

Summit Entertainment has debuted the first trailer for writer/director Jonathan Levine's Warm Bodies and you can check it out below!

Opening in theaters on February 1, the zombie love story stars Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco and Cory Hardrict. (Cinema, Warm Bodies)

Meh - If it comes out on Netflix I'll check it out because I can't get enough Zombie material but I highly doubt there will be too many people who go out of their way to catch this one.

The reason is the concept used to be a niche market, I remember when I use to read vampire novels nobody mentioned anything about vampires, then all of the sudden Twilight comes out (I then of course stop, I've now switched over to Lovecraftian short stories just wait now Cthulu is going to become mainstream...) everyone's doing everything on vampires (if you can call them that).

I remember when zombies were around I only heard about them in the George Romero movies and the Resident Evil franchise that was it, now granted enough there's been so many zombie affiliated games, movies, and even events I can't keep track of it.

From this trailer this movie is either going to be really good or really bad. An interesting idea which I just don't think is possible to pull off in a non cringe worthy fashion.

Got that same vibe. I actually thought it'd be Twilight BS with zombies but it aint. Its a comedy romance between a zombie and a human that doesnt seem to take itself seriously. Here's to hoping its good.

I reckon it'll be one of those film's in which it starts off good and turns schmaltzy towards the end.

And that god awful CGI on the 'fast zombies' is nearly as bad as the 'vamps' in I'am Legend!

oh come on people. first off, for the people talking about zombies going mainstream..are you kidding me? zombies have been mainstream for a long time now and are you a hipster and can't like what other people like? you discovered it first, it's yours? 2nd. look at any top zombie movie list and you will see campy comedies. This could have great humor in it. Some of the jokes in the trailer are similar to Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland. I'm not saying this movie will define the modern zombie but it certainly won't hurt the genre anymore than the walking dead has...most pathetic zombies I've seen for years.

This story is so beyond ridiculous...I really don't think it's going to be making any big splash at the box office.
