We’ve landed the two clips from Dario Argento’s Dracula 3D, which looks absolutely ridiculous. I still have high hopes considering I liked Mother of Tears.
IFC Films has snagged the rights and will release it under the IFC Midnight label in 2013.
The tale begins with Jonathan Harker, journeying by train and carriage from England to Count Dracula’s crumbling, remote castle situated in the Carpathian Mountains on the border of Transylvania. The purpose of his mission is to catalogue the big library of Dracula. At first enticed by Dracula’s gracious manner, Harker soon discovers that he has become a prisoner in the castle. He also begins to see disquieting facets of Dracula’s nocturnal life. One night while searching for a way out of the castle, and against Dracula’s strict admonition not to venture outside his room at night, Harker falls under the spell of three wanton female vampires, the Brides of Dracula.
It's already played theatrically in Europe, and will get a limited theatrical run in the US and VOD.
It's really sad to see the creator of a great movie like Susperia put out something like this.
Dario Argento is awesome in my book. This looks kind of lame,but I will watch it!

Not long ago, IFC Films obtained rights to living legend, Dario Argento’s Dracula 3D. An official US release date remains in question, but rumors hint at a 2013 date. While we twiddle our thumbs stateside, Italy can officially begin preparing for the arrival of Argento’s rendition of Bram Stoker’s age old tale, as the film hits Italian screens on November 22nd.
I'm holding out for Jonathan Rhys Meyers playing Dracula in his upcoming series.
WTF?! I thought we were about to get a real vampire movie, this looks worse then Twilight.
Is that really a Dario Argento film? The same guy who done Demons? Terrible terrible trailer.
maybe they should let michael bay direct a dracula movie, that would be hilarious to watch, there would be an explosion every minute
