It’s hard to imagine now, but there once was a time when George Clooney’s career wasn’t flourishing. His movie career anyway. In the mid to late 90s, Clooney appeared as Dr. Ross on tens of millions of television sets every Thursday on the hit NBC drama ER. Many attributed the success of the show to his appeal. But while his television career was at a peak, his film career suffered some missteps. Sure, he was the star of Steven Soderbergh’s wildly acclaimed crime romance Out of Sight in 1998, but the year before that, Clooney was the star of one of the biggest misfires in recent memory: Batman & Robin. It wasn’t Clooney’s fault, per se, that the film tanked with critics and film historians. If anything, it was because of the person who tailored his Batman suit. Audiences take it for granted, but when bad costume work is evident, it can really hinder a film, and boy was Clooney’s Batman suit, um, interesting.
I would also put Thor and Black Widow on there, I like their costumes.
But her hair and everything goes with the costume, not just the leather. I have a character of my own with a similar look, so I have an appeal to it.
The Captain America costume comes a close second.
I agree Ironman was done right as well.
