We recently reported that a Beverly Hills Cop TV series had landed at CBS with franchise star Eddie Murphy attached for at least the pilot. Previous reports indicated that the Shawn Ryan (The Shield) show would center on Axel Foley’s son Aaron in a blending of a buddy-cop and fish-out-of-water procedural. Now it looks as if Brandon T. Jackson (Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief) is in final negotiations to join the series as the young Foley.

Man, is this really happening? I honestly thought it was a joke that they were trying to make it a TV show.
I thought so too but I guess it's a go. I haven't heard anything about it for some time now so it's probably not starting until next year sometime.
So first this guy was Martin Lawrence's son and wore a fat suit to maybe continue the Big Momma franchise and now he's Eddie Murphy's son and continueing the dead and buried Beverly Hills Cop franchise....
why?
