Now, an Italian director (Luis Prieto) has tackled a remake, starring Richard Coyle as Frank, a down-on-his-luck drug dealer in London."

The original was written and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, 2011) and became a cult hit for it’s extremely raw and gritty cinematography, characters and performances. I have not seen the original trilogy, but am familiar with the plot itself. And Refn acts as executive producer on this remake, which is naturally encouraging. But does his presence automatically mean it’s a good take on his original screenplay?…"
