New Photos Of Johnny Depp & Armie Hammer In 'The Lone Ranger'

After nearly 150 shooting days, marked by delays due to dust and wind storms, and reported budget overruns, "The Lone Ranger" starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer has now wrapped filming. And now the editing process will begin as Gore Verbinski preps the movie for a summer release next year, but Disney is giving everyone a sneak peek today with a batch of new photos from TV show turned blockbuster. I'm not a real big fan of Westerns but I'm pretty hopeful that this movie is going to be awesome. I like the cast and it looks like they're throwing alot of weight behind it.

Love Gore Verbrinski, but Johnny Depp's Tonto is still oft-putting to me...and not in a good Johnny Depp way.

He looks weird with the white and black make up, and a little to Jack Sparrow for my taste. I'm sure he'll do a fine job in the role, though. I just hope it won't become the Tonto show ala Pirates.
