Yesterday we got our first look at Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars, with several members of Justice Forever. Today, he was also joined by Dr. Gravity (Donald Faison), Battle-Guy (Clark Duke), and the husband and wife crime fighters, Remembering Tommy. (Cinema, Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall)

I'm so freaking jacked up for this movie. Admittedly, despite my initial dislike of Jim Carrey being cast as Colonel Stars, he looks pretty damn good in the role.

the first kick ass movie was fun entertaining yet solid, i hope the inclusion of jim carrey will make the second outing better, i know he will add up comedy but i really hope this can stand toe to toe with the first movie. because i seriously think jim carrey as great as he is might make this movie more comedic as it should have been which i think they should avoid.

Jim Carrey is actually a pretty good actor...if you've ever seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind you would see he has some decent range to him.

Looks like it's going to be an interesting movie no doubt.

I read the graphic novel. I wonder how much they'll take away. Like the first graphic novel, it's extremely graphic.

I hope they keep the awesome soundtrack.

Yeah, the second novel was insanely gory and mature. After reading it, I've been concerned about how true the new movie will be. Though the first was also not 100% faithful as well. We'll see.

i would not have guessed that was Jim Carrey if i didn't already know.

i can't wait to see how he does in this role, it's not really like any of his other roles.
but he's a better actor than many people give him credit for.

anyway, i'm looking forward to the film, i loved the first one.
in fact i might give it a watch tonight.
