While the story line was paper thin it did have some great special effects and 3D and always Jovovich continued making Alice the best character not in a Resident Evil game.

I myself liked it a lot. I was thinking that it was going in a whole different direction then it did but I still was very suprised at the difference in the story compared to the usual.
It definitely took a different direction. Fun popcorn fare though.
Based on the ending, this isn't going to be the last one.
