"I do think there’s an expectation with animation that it’s just goofy fun. And you know if you say ‘it’s a zombie movie for kids’ people just think it’s going to be limbs dropping off and goofy zombies. And there is that in it but it was always intended to go to a much more serious place. The zombies are kind of just the dressing."
