Scott Derrickson (“The Exorcism of Emily Rose”) has signed on to direct the paranormal police thriller, “Beware the Night” and will also be re-writing the script, according to a representative for Derrickson.

Familiar territory for Derrickson, the story is set in a paranormal world and follows a New York police officer investigating real life demon possessions, exorcisms and werewolves after dark. (Beware The Night, Cinema, Jerry Bruckheimer, Scott Derrickson, Walt Disney Pictures)
