Cinema Blend: Henry Selick’s considered by many to be the “Godfather” of contemporary stop-motion animation. With ParaNorman heading to theaters (and riding a wave of extremely positive reviews), Selick’s name has been mentioned often because his Coraline helped pave the way for the quiet outcast who can talk to ghosts. So this is an odd time for Walt Disney Studios to decide they want to bail on Selick’s latest stop-motion effort, but that’s exactly what has happened.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Shame...big fan of Henry Selick, and was curious to see what he was going to do next. Hopefully he'll find success elsewhere.
Well son of a bitch. I'm sure he'll make get another pitch picked up in no time. I'm hoping Disney has a good reason for denying it though.
