Nate of The Daily Rotation wrote, "It’s no surprise that The Dark Knight Rises has become one of the biggest and most talked about movies this summer. It seems as if I can’t login to any social network site or enter any social setting without hearing/seeing it mentioned. With such a hefty movie and being that it’s the end of a series, there’s no surprise that there is so much to talk about. I’ve been in many heated arguments about how I feel about certain aspects of the film and the top argument I always have is about the ending."
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.

OBVIOUSLY MASSIVE SPOILERS SHOULDN'T BE HERE ANYWAY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS.
The Luis Fox finding out the auto pilot was fixed by Bruce obviously shows he is alive and especially when Alfred sees him. It would be nice to think this is just Alfred pretending (and to be honest I think that might have been a back up ending just in case the story was leaked)but the idea is Bruce is retiring and passing the mantle on. Throughout all three films the constant theme has been. Batman is symbol not a person. This is where Robin comes in. I would like to think he becomes Robin but who knows. It could have just been a name drop so people are like WTF. The old Bruce is dead and a new one is living.
