Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel to Be Post-Converted to 3D; Plus a New Synopsis

Collider - In a move that’s not exactly surprising, it appears that Warner Bros. has decided to post-convert director Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot Man of Steel to 3D. A page is currently up on the IMAX website touting “Man of Steel: An IMAX 3D Experience,” but a statement from the filmmakers or any other information about the 3D Supes has yet to come to light. We’ve literally seen one image and a logo for Man of Steel, so the film’s Hall H panel is one of the most anticipated of this week’s Comic-Con 2012.

If you do not film in 3D then it is not a 3D film. Conversion is like painting a flame on a clunker and calling it a sports car.

Site was updated with this

"  IMAX has informed us that the 3D release for Man of Steel was an inputting error and they've since taken the page down.  Variety's Josh Dickey reports via Twitter that Warner Bros. is still contemplating whether or not to post-convert the film to 3D, and a final decision has yet to be made"

Hmmmm

Well that's...better, I guess? On the whole, I'll still be surprised if the film doesn't turn out to be 3D.

They probably saw the backlash erupting, and since they have no trailers or anything to cover it up they backed off.....

Honestly it feels like Sony is the only company that actually films and tries to perfect the 3D experience.....everything else is pushed too hard, or forced in afterwards......

who cares this films gona be shit, zack snyder makes horrible movies only good one he made was 300 and that was all greenscreen lol

ohh wait nolans producing it, it might have some hope but i still staand by wat i said, zack is a gash director

Zack is a great director, his fights and cinematic's are top notch, though I am not about to defend his writing, that he cannot do.

Nolan cannot do a fight at all, or do anything unrealistic. In a movie about dreams he managed to turn it into a gun movie by the end... But he can write good stories.

I think the team up could work well.

He isn't writing this one, so thats good. He is great at capturing the shots and getting it done well. He just isn't strong in the story area.

Plus 300 is about the only film of his I couldn't care less about.

Still would have liked to have seen a superman movie with the cast of smallville.

Don't see Superman in 3D, CHECK.

if it wasn't filmed in 3d i'd rather not see it in 3d.
