The Playlist:
This summer, you're gonna be getting a whole lot of Tom Hardy. And to cap off your week, here are two new trailers for his latest efforts, which mostly boast the same stuff we've seen before. But hey, it's Friday, and if you want to get out of work on time, better to stay in your cubicle/office fucking off on the internet than possibly running into your boss in the hallway, right?
First up, a short one minute trailer for John Hillcoat's "Lawless" has arrived that is basically a re-edit of the longer version from a couple of months back. As you already know, this one stars a pretty amazing cast -- Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce, Shia LaBeouf, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke -- in a based-on-a-true-story tale about the Bondurant brothers who struggle to hang on to their lucrative moonshine business, during the fading years of prohibition, with a sadistic special agent on their tail.
Rest In Peace Review: This gripping thriller will captivate you from start to finish, leaving you pondering the boundaries between right and wrong long after the credits roll.
Inspector Rishi Review: Amazon Prime Video's horror-mystery series, starring Naveen Chandra, is mysterious and thrilling, as promised.
Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
I'm looking forward to both these movies. Tom Hardy has proved himself to be an excellent actor and will only be getting better as time goes by.
this guy captivates audiences with his show stealing performance. i never heard of him before but after inception this guy's career went skyrocket. in both the trailers shown above i think tom hardy will showcase his acting prowess again. if you havent heard the film bronson and your a tom hardy fan ..i would recommend that movie, i just saw it weeks ago, its mildly disturbing but his acting was good and was villain material.
