A bad movie that employs exceptional talent and showcases many of writer/director Woody Allen’s best loved cinematic hallmarks; had it disregarded three of its vignettes it would have been a much better movie.

FMV says: "To Rome with Love is not as good as Midnight in Paris, but if you’re a fan of Woody Allen's whole career – and don’t mind an over-the-top, slightly distasteful utopian setting – you will still appreciate a film that provides witty scenarios and great performances."
Four trivial stories, forced laughs: don’t expect much more from Allen’s latest postcard from Europe.
Clickonline writes: "To Rome With Love certainly functions as a affectionate letter to the city but there’s little enough else going on, as the four stories meander towards uninteresting finales, bloating the running time to almost two hours. Best avoided."
