Bob Orci Names Four Characters Who WON'T Be In The Next Star Trek

AICN

Our special live guest on “Ask Mr. KERN” Saturday night is screenwriter/producer Roberto Orci, whose big-screen dramedy “People Like Us” opens next Friday. I'd actually really like to see their take on The Borg. I just love what they've done with the franchise.

problem is the borg dont come around until the next generation, so i cant ever see them being in this series.

Forgive my ignorance to the Borg and their origins but are they really just an advanced race that doesn't assert itself until that far into the future or are you just saying that because you associate them with TNG? I honestly hated TNG so I never watched it but I always thought the Borg race was kinda cool.

borg is a race that was so far away they were basically unreachable, but with TNG lets just say this godlike being put pickard and them into a confrontation because he could just teleport them. Show them how outgunned they are lol. Kinda the whole reason the borg found out about the federation.

Im fuzzy on the details.. was a long time ago.

Star trek first contact was the best startrek movie in my eyes.

PLus the TNG characters in my opinion were just a lot cooler and a lot more diversified. In fact I found them to be more entertaining..
