I’ve been waiting for Ridley Scott to make another sci-fi movie since 1982. I may not love everything he’s ever done, but I am confident in the man’s ability to make a solid space romp; Alien and Blade Runner are a couple of my favourite movies period. I have been eagerly anticipating Prometheus almost since it was originally announced. After finally sitting down to watch the film, I am relieved to say I’m satisfied with the final product, though the film is far from perfect and not the instant classic I had hoped it to be.
