Jim Carrey smartly did the right thing. He's just the King of facial and physical antics.. better than Jerry Lewis I think, but in Dumb and Dumber I thought Jeff Daniels actually had the better part and was a lot funnier although that dream sequence where Jim Carrey with the lighter and the fart scene was spectacularly hilarious.

Jim Carrey is starting in the new Dumb and Dumber sequel... AAAAAAND HE'S GONE.

I can't imagine why the studio wouldn't be all over wanting to make this sequel. I'd imagine there's definitely a good audience for it out there.

Who knows, maybe they'll be able to drum up studio excitement soon enough. Then they can convince Carrey to come back on.

If they can't get Carrey back, though, I say scrap it. There doesn't really seem a point to do it if Jim and Jeff aren't both doing it.

jim carey should do a movie about his fire chief character from in living color, now that would be funny.

This project reeked of desperation from the get go. The Farrelly Bros. haven't been relevant since the 90s.
