The Collider:
Just how does Oscar winner Jamie Foxx plan on following up a large-scale spaghetti Western from Quentin Tarantino? Why with a Roland Emmerich action movie, of course. Variety reports that Foxx is eyeing the role of the President of the United States in the Independence Day director’s actioner White House Down. Channing Tatum is set to star as a secret service agent who must protect the president when a group of parahijackers take over the White House. The project, described as “Die Hard in the White House,” comes with a script by Zodiac and The Amazing Spider-Man screenwriter James Vanderbilt. Hit the jump for more.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
