Courtney of The Daily Rotation wrote, "I don’t often get the chance to take in foreign cinema, but in the case of The Intouchables, I’m reminded of why I enjoy every opportunity to watch something fairly magical unfold on the screen. Sure, it sounds cheesy, but I have to say, the more foreign films I see, the more I find that I truly enjoy."
BF: While discussing his return to the big screen in David O. Russell‘s latest film, ‘Silver Linings Playbook,’ actor Chris Tucker exclusively told Blackfilm.com that he’s been in talks to star in The Weinstein Company’s English-language remake of the French film ‘The Intouchables.’
This movie was pretty good. Watched it to an almost empty theatre. Hopefully Chris Tucker doesn't make it too funny considering the subject matter. But I think this could be a good remake. I don't know if Colin Firth would really sign on for this though.
Vicki Dolley writes: "Sometimes there are moments in cinema that feel like real magic, that possess some extraordinary quality that see a film into greatness. Untouchable, inspired by a true story, has become one of France’s biggest hits ever – and it’s easy to see why."

"Like many people, I usually wait until the year is over to put together a top movies list (sometimes I wait until the Oscars). This year, I decided to make a list at the halfway point, to give the five films that might not last some credit (and the five that deserve little to no credit at all). Keep in mind, some of the movies that I have considered my "favorites" have not exactly been the best movies technically (i.e. Happy Gilmore). Feel free to let me know what your favorite movies of the year are down there in the comments."
