When Marvel Comics announced that the current Thor in the comic books was going to be replaced by a woman, one could probably have predicted that it would only be a matter of time before people begin speculating over what this meant for the Thor movies. And according to well-known Hollywood blogger Nikki Finke, it appears to be a very real possibility that Marvel Studios might go with a new female lead in upcoming Thor and Avengers movies.
Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
Rest In Peace Review: A man in debt disappears. Years later, he considers reconnecting with his family, but his previous life takes him by surprise.
Nerd Reactor writes that a new international post has revealed the return of a fan-favorite Toho monster.
They better not, this shitty move doesn't even make sense in the comic world
It's different if it's someone who was taking Thors place with their own name/identity but Thor being a woman...come on
I wish people would get it through their thick skulls that "Thor" isn't a title like Iron Man or Captain America, it's his actual name. It's not like Bucky tried to become Steve Rogers or Dick Grayson tried to become Bruce Wayne.
It's a move done for shock value that's all. We'll see Thor again in the future.
Actually its not surprising - the one thing that DC has that Marvel is lacking is an iconic female character. No other female superhero comes close to wonderwoman, this is in no doubt a movie to copy Wonderwoman. Both Thor and WW have origins rooted in ancient mythology - Norse and Greek respectively.
Lies lies lies
we see how everybody does their new contacts for marvel after Avengers 3... we might get some new actors later down the road we might see a female thor, but thats really only if its premanent in the marvel comics
What is it with feeling the need to gender/race/ sexuality-swap to create diversity in comics these days?
Try creating a NEW interesting female/black/gay character instead of messing with established characters.
