I think I would kinda have to agree with them. I think perhaps they should do a proper TV series with her, and make sure the contract for the actress states that if they make a successful series, she would fill the role in a JLA movie and perhaps some cameos in other movies from that world.

The best way to do Wonder Woman would be a combinations of Thor (storytelling and how to handle the gods) meets Clash of the Titans. Keep it located at Themyscira or Paradise Island, keep it as an origin story and revolve around her becoming a warrior (hot chicks in skimpy outfits kicking @$$), and have her being trained by the gods and taking down Greek Mythological creatures and maybe a demigod (Cheetah) or full God (?????).

The New 52 origin story is actually pretty good, and is a perfect template. ALso make Wonder Woman a brutal savage. She doesn't gain much of her "desire to not kill" until after she joins the Justice League so make her all about the beatdown.

Wonder Woman can be done, it just can't be happy go lucky.

sorry...did you say something after "hot chicks in skimpy outfits kicking @$$..."? Cause You sold me on the idea.

Just make a live action adaptation of the DC Animated Wonder Woman film.

Im not a big fan of hers, but that film was pretty well done, and could definitely work in live action format and in the same vein as MoS and TDK franchises especially when you bring in frigging Ares, the God of War in it.

Crazay3912d ago

I never heard or saw that one. If it'd on Netflix I'll have to check it out.

I found the film kinda boring myself, I wouldn't blame it on the character though. Sometimes DC movies are hit/miss.

Liked the new one though...Flashpoint. Didn't like some of the character designs however.

ABizzel13911d ago

Flashpoint was great, but yeah some of the designs were a bit blah.

I'd love to see more Wonder Woman, but she probably does need to be tweaked for a new era. Mostly I just want more female superheroes for my little girl... it's slim pickings. Carrie Kelley? Batgirl?

RedHawkX3911d ago

they needed to make this film with the xena warrior princess chick back then. shes the perfect type of chick you need.

ABizzel13911d ago (Edited 3911d ago )

Ahhh yes Xena followed by Hercules, those were the good old days. Lucy Lawless could have been a good Wonder Woman, but she's a bit old now. Maybe Gina Carano (she played in Fsat and the Furious 6 and Haywire, plus she's an MMA fighter)

Mmmm yes

Gina's definitely got the WW look, but i've seen Haywire twice and I'm still not entirely sure if she can truly act or not.

RedHawkX3911d ago

she might be to strong lol.

They can barely get superman right and wonderwoman is like superman without the lazer beams and xray vision. They would need a good story around her and the PERFECT actress.

Crazay3911d ago

why would you say "They can barely get superman right"? Man of Steel was awesome dude. Are you one of the haters?

tarbis3911d ago

He's one of those that can't get Superman right. lazer beams? seriously.

thehitman3911d ago

I thought Superman was OKI. If you put it next to the last it was very good, they got the action down but the story was very choppy in some parts not the flashbacks but the scenes just literally jumped too much and werent seamless. I guess its not something everybody notices and is bothered by it but those that do notice it completely takes you out of the experience of the movie.
