Ray Park Wants To Be Snake Eyes And Darth Maul Again

MTV: Ray Park is ready for another fight, and more weapons, please. That’s the message the Scottish actor and martial artist -- best known for his roles as Toad in Bryan Singer’s “X-Men,” Darth Maul in “Star Wars: Episode I” and Snake Eyes in the live-action “G.I. Joe” movies -- delivered at Wizard World NYC this past weekend.

Only chance of Park being in new Star Wars films is him playing a different character.

make a clone using dna. clone wars reincarnated

I'd be in hog heaven if Darth Maul came back in any of the new Star Wars films (come on spin-off!).

RetrospectRealm3941d ago

That would mean people would most likely have to watch the Clone Wars episodes where he was brought back and it was all explained. I doubt they would make people go watch them. Especially people who never even bothered watching Clone Wars (older audience).

darklordzor3941d ago

I'm in that Older Audience and thoroughly enjoyed watching them.

coolbeans3941d ago

Not necessarily. If they decide to bring half-cut Maul back into the picture, some dialogue and/or flashback routine would be enough to provide the whole audience with enough understanding.

RetrospectRealm3941d ago

Yes, but I pretty sure not many 20-60 year olds watched the Clone Wars as much as younger kids did. You could claim "There's a crap ton of Star Wars fans who are 20-60 who watched this!", but some people are Star Wars fans who just aren't into kids TV shwos.

I think Darth Maul is an awesome character. I don't think he gets enough appreciation.

Double_O_Revan3941d ago

Park is awesome! I love all his roles. Including the one they didn't list, which was the Headless Horseman in Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp.

He always does a great job.

Baka-akaB3941d ago

He also do crap roles , as seen in King of Fighters and Heroes . He's good for fighting scenes and the silent characters but acting ? not really
