'X-Men: Days Of Future Past': Beast Revealed

MTV: ''Well, actually only half of Beast has been revealed. "X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer has tweeted a picture of the Beast, and we assume that's returning star Nicholas Hoult underneath the blue fur. Hoult is reprising the role that he took on in "X-Men: First Class," and he's one of only four actors from that first film to return.

Singer included a passage from Jeanne Marie Le Prince de Beaumont's Beauty and the Beast in the tweet. Check out the full picture below. As far as first looks go, this one is pretty awesome.''

Pretty nice, I just hope that they try to make the character better this time around, more development as well.

Yeah, I was definitely let down by First Class. The best part of that movie was the Wolverine cameo.

jony_dols4028d ago

The Wolverine cameo was good, but really? I thought the film was flawed, but easily the best part was Michael Fassbender's Nazi hunting.

the guy who plays Beast needs to bulk up a bit though, he's just too skinny.

anyway, Beast has gone through several variations in the comics, he started out looking relatively normal, if bulky.
lately he's taken on a more feline appearance, that must have been what they were going for in First Class, but now they're tying it more closely to the other X-Men films they have to make the look match a little more.

well, whatever they do, can't wait. ^_^

yes i agree that somehow that they are trying the feline appearance of beast like in the astonishing x men and it might work better and be much cooler than the bulk up appearance he has in the 90's cartoons x men.

I like it so far. Does he really look that much different from the third X-Men movie though?
