I watched this last night and found it quite entertaining and enjoyable. I'd go a soft 7.5 or 8/10. It wasn't amazing, but then we've had the Ponds for so long that it will take some time to adjust without them.

That said, this was probably one of the least Christmas-y specials yet, though it did still tie in overall. Clara is definitely cute, but we'll have to wait to see if she can hold her own and be a proper companion.
