The Walking Dead: "Hounded" Review | IGN

IGN: Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.

While Season 3 of The Walking Dead has been great -- the most consistent and confidant the series has ever felt over a prolonged period -- “Hounded” was the first episode this season that, while good, didn’t quite resonate so strongly.

SPOILERS BELOW!

I'm honestly sick and tired of the Governor, that town, and Andrea at this point. ITS BEYOND BORING and keeps breaking literally every single episode. It gets exciting, then it cuts to Twilight for no reason....During this episode I actually lost interest at one point and caught myself browsing my phone like I do when commercials come on. We get it, Andrea and the Governor are "in love" why not have a few conversations and cut to them having sex and get it over with?!

They had a chance to make Michonne awesome, but instead have her wimp out and let Glen and Maggie get captured. However they saved themselves by making her appear at the prison.

I hope they don't kill Glen and Maggie, that will ruin a little bit for me....

It's funny they have accomplished making Merle a bigger bad guy than the Governor so far....

As for Rick, another phenomenal performance and the way they did the phone this was absolutely awesome! The whole group is interesting, and I LOVED those parts of this episode. The governor and Andrea just ruined it for me so I say it deserved a 7.5, heck I would have gave it a 7.

They hinted that Daryl will kill Merle when he was talking to Carl. Awesome! Hope so! Daryl and Rick are by far my favorite characters.

One last thing, Andrea's acting is going downhill fast. I've said it before that she wasn't believable at all, well this episode made it worse. why was she freaking out and all out of breath from seeing ONE walker? "OMG A WALKER! !!!!!!" Really? That whole scene I was laughing. There is a fence for a reason. And by some miracle the girl can't shoot worth crap?

Yeah I don't really like the governor either but it is getting a bit better actually because its leading up to a conflict between rick grimes and governor/merle. Andrea should be the next death lol. Lmao at the heavy breathing comment. I noticed that too.

I was just like "really? Did the show actually come back on, or is this behind the scenes comedy during the break?"

And as for the governor, I got that from the first two episodes. I really don't think all this added conversation is needed. They could easily have had Merle do his thing and get the same point across. It's worse than looking for Sophia.

Am I watching Watership Down, just with humans instead of rabbits? The Governor is General Woundwort.

episode was ok, i liked the phone call scene but instead of amy, jim and jackie in the earlier call, it would be far much greater if it's shane, dale or t-dog included on those phone call.
