I'm interested in seeing this show but I still don't understand the premise behind it. The Munsters looked like classical Universal Monsters but these people look nothing like that. I'm not surprised that they're going to pass on it but if they want to try and re-coop some of the costs in making the pilot, they'd better start marketing it now and they really should market it as a different spin on the Munsters because I can't see anyone under the age of 40+ getting the correlation between Mockingbird Lane and The Munsters.

yeah, i'm not sure of the direction they're taking with this.
if it was The Adams Family, i could see it, but this seems nothing like the Munsters.

still Eddie Izzard's in it, i'd watch it for that alone. ^_^

I don't even really know who Eddie Izzard is to be perfectly honest.

Crazay4208d ago

OH yea - it does feel a little more Addams Family for sure. I was trying to remember who the other "Creepy Odd family" was.

I absolutely love Eddie Izzard. Matter of fact, just turned my gf onto him the other night when i made her watch one of his stand-ups with me. But yeah, I'd be more than happy to give anything with him a chance.

Never much cared for the Munsters. Was always more of an Adams Family kinda guy.
