Ben Affleck to Star in Warner Bros. Political Comedy 'Nathan Decker'

Ben Affleck is attached to star in Nathan Decker, a political comedy that Warner Bros. is developing as a star vehicle.

Warners picked up the script by Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love) about a year ago with Tom Cruise as its probable lead actor. Cruise has since fallen off the project, so Warners approached Affleck, who has now attached himself.

I think he's doing better now that he's older and wiser so I guess a movie like this might be okay. I like it when he directs and acts in the movie like he did in The Town. I'm also looking forward to seeing Argo when it comes out.

This one is still a long way off so we'll have to wait and see if he even follows thru with it.

The town was awesome, still one of the best movies that has come out as of late. I wonder why he didn't really ride that movie for what its worth and secure some more deals?

I'm the same way. I don't discuss them if I can avoid it. It's time wasted and I hate it when I get all these emails on politics too.
