Movies Hate You Too writes:
It’s been thirteen years since Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was released. What was initially a financial failure has turned into a cult classic and is now heralded as an imperfect but still classic film. A lot has changed since ’98; writer Hunter S. Thompson committed suicide in 2005, Aaron Eckhart became a star even though no one can show me in box office receipts why, and Johnny Depp went from being a former teen heartthrob to being a current teen heartthrob with his Pirates of the Caribbean films. One thing that hasn’t changed is Johnny Depp’s dedication to the work’s of Hunter S. Thompson as he steps in front of the camera for the second time to play the leading role in an adaptation of one of his works.
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
Anthracite Review: This Netflix thriller makes us go down several engaging roads and the twists and turns are delicious.
Stolen Review: Elle Márjá Eira makes an attempt at creating a story revolving Sámi people of Sweden.
I still want to see this even though the reviews aren't great.
