Forbes -- Ben Affleck has come a long way since I first met him and interviewed him as an undergrad student at George Mason University for Good Will Hunting back in 1997. I attended the Los Angeles junket for the movie (and Scream 2) at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Both Affleck and his writing, best friend and acting partner Matt Damon were on hand to promote the movie. Both actors were genuine and good interviews, and this was also before their Hollywood careers really took off.
