Game Of Thrones Finale: Why That Character Didn't Appear

So, by now you'll most likely have seen the final episode of Game of Thrones' fourth season. Which means a) we all now have to wait almost a year for more Westerosi intrigue, violence and gratuitous scenes set in brothels, and b) we now know that a certain character didn't appear.

What a bullshit excuse...she's not important to the story, she kills one character and almost kills another. She's totally important, she's a big "WTF" moment.

She's a reminded of what happened during the red wedding

How can they say she's not important....yeah and I bet Cold Hands wasn't important either.

Honestly they are trying to cut corners because they only have 10 episodes a season, I really think HBO should give a season more episodes if the writers really need them. It's a very popular show with a huge audience and ratings, one or two more episodes wouldn't hurt.

Alxe3593d ago

Agreed .... HBO should give a season 2 more episodes

I don't mind if they can do everything in 10 episodes, season one for example worked because Game of Thrones, the first book is not as big as the others meaning less stuff to adapt in the show.

However if the writters go "Gee...HBO, we're going to need 12 episodes for this season" then they should turn around and give it to them

One season they might everything done in 11 episodes, the next could be 14, then the one after that could be 12 where the last ever season might need the full 15.

hate 2 ruin it for you but book 5 is the worst in the series.

what I hated about books 2-5 was that other than character deaths everything is mostly the same.

kevinsheeks3593d ago

I agree This is very disappointing I haven't read the books but I have researched about them and I think shes a verrrrry important character.

basically your right they cut out content to make up for the lack of episodes hbo needs to extend it but you know greed in all that -_-

and she kills characters who we never seen before and it has no point.
Did you even read? Appear or not, story will not change. So, appear would be pointless and wedding also because she is alive and it would ruin a whole show to see that she survived not died.

Outside of the "character" not appearing, is there anything else they missed out? Fed up of having people spoiling the tv series for me so I plan on starting to read the books and will begin with book 5. Don't want to go into the book while missing anything out. Feel free to PM me any spoilers that were missed from season 4 that were in book 4.

Start with book four. Book four and five take place at the same time, and separate the characters by geography. If you start with book five you will miss a lot.

Season 4 doesn't mean book 4. Season 4 finally took care of most of the events in book 3 and hasn't touched anything from book 4.

pompombrum3592d ago

Thanks for that, my friend said each season covers a book so I figured book 5 is where I start, you've just saved me a lot of confusion once I start reading lol.

I think the exclusion of Coldhands was the real tragedy this season.

kevinsheeks3592d ago

Omg I had no idea about this I really am missing out O.o the show becomes less and less interesting the more i find out they cut :\

Season 5 will include it. Season 4 was awesome nonetheless
