Are you serious? This was by far the stupidest movie I've seen in a while, and yes it's all because of that "particular" plot twist

TDKR was seven times better than Iron Man 3. Iron Man 3 was good but the plot was s***.

Would love to see a break down between ticket sales and ticket types. Disney and their foray into 3D is purely profit driven, not an ounce of artistry. The 3D in Iron Man 3 was poor, not one aspect of it was enhanced over the 2D counterpart, felt like I was watching a 2D film with an extra set of glasses on.

Had to spend all day preordering tickets for Dark Knight Rises, Iron Man 3D tickets took a minute to get hold of and there were still spare seats during opening weekend weekend.
However, Star Trek 2 took quite a while getting tickets, absolutely packed out and still doing well...and it's in 3D, perhaps you'll see this being the biggest grosser of the year.

This is good news, since 2008 Marvel Studios have continuously made great comic book films and they just keep getting better as they get more use to it. They have set the standard for what a comic book film should be and if you aim for anything less when making one then you're aiming for failure.

Box office numbers are a terrible way to compare a movies success and popularity. If you want to compare popularity it should be on ticket sales.

funny thing is that Iron Man 3 is a really bad movie. If I had to rate it it'd be a 3/10. lol

I'm not surprised. The Dark Knight Rises could have been better if we're being honest.
