Few franchises have more lasting power than a great horror series. For some reason, the genre just happens to lend itself really well for reboots, to varying degrees of quality, of course. Where will Scream fall among the ranks of reboots and sequels? After a (relatively) recent fourth installment to the film franchise, which brought star Neve Cambell back to the role of Sidney Prescott in 2011, MTV is looking to move forward with a TV version. The network once better associated with music, has given the green light to a one-hour pilot that will reinvent the horror-comedy Scream for the small screen.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Brigands: The Quest For Gold Review: The Italian drama follows a group of brigands, embarking on a journey to reclaim power and some hidden gold.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
On one hand I want to say I hate this idea...On the other, I'm moderately intrigued. I mean they've done a pretty damn good job with Teen Wolf.
Since this is happening, I'd rather they started over with all the original characters (obviously the actors won't happen)and then they could start the series over again and we could get Randy and Stu back.
Flop incoming.
I have a problem with old classic horror series never being able to Rest in Peace; as in letting the series be, without anymore remakes or movies based on them.
Scream movies are classic Horror films that I personally love, especially the first film. I just hope that they don´t keep ruining the series, like the fourth film was complete trash...
I'm intrigued, but I think it fits as a movie franchise more.
i'm not sure how they could stretch something like this out into a series, i mean, a big part of it was always the whodunit aspect, unless it's some sort of anthology show with a different scenario every episode.
or will it be one killer throughout the series.
either way, i'd be interested in seeing the direction they take.
