Meh - If it comes out on Netflix I'll check it out because I can't get enough Zombie material but I highly doubt there will be too many people who go out of their way to catch this one.

when zombies stop being cool and become disturbing mainstream

Yeah Iv meaning to ask, why does everything that goes mainstream suddenly turn crap? It's like a curse or something

The reason is the concept used to be a niche market, I remember when I use to read vampire novels nobody mentioned anything about vampires, then all of the sudden Twilight comes out (I then of course stop, I've now switched over to Lovecraftian short stories just wait now Cthulu is going to become mainstream...) everyone's doing everything on vampires (if you can call them that).

I remember when zombies were around I only heard about them in the George Romero movies and the Resident Evil franchise that was it, now granted enough there's been so many zombie affiliated games, movies, and even events I can't keep track of it.

From this trailer this movie is either going to be really good or really bad. An interesting idea which I just don't think is possible to pull off in a non cringe worthy fashion.

Got that same vibe. I actually thought it'd be Twilight BS with zombies but it aint. Its a comedy romance between a zombie and a human that doesnt seem to take itself seriously. Here's to hoping its good.

I reckon it'll be one of those film's in which it starts off good and turns schmaltzy towards the end.

And that god awful CGI on the 'fast zombies' is nearly as bad as the 'vamps' in I'am Legend!
